Encouraging a Healthier, More Active Team

At Farrell Heyworth, wellbeing is essential to a positive workplace. In March, we've encouraged our teams to participate in our "Walking for Wellbeing" challenge. With a special prize for the team member who records the most steps by the end of March, we are excited to see our colleagues explore their local areas while improving their health. Read to the end to see how far we walked and who our winner is!

Beyond the friendly competition, this initiative highlights the many physical and mental benefits of walking while celebrating the beautiful landscapes surrounding our multiple office locations across the North West.

Walking Towards a Healthier Future

Our Walking for Wellbeing initiative isn't just about counting steps – it's about promoting a healthier lifestyle, encouraging team engagement, and appreciating the local communities we serve.

Whether our teams are walking along the Blackpool promenade, exploring Lancaster's canal paths, or hiking up Rivington Pike, every step contributes to a healthier, more connected workplace.

At the final count as a company we walked a total of 12 million 244 thousand and 950 (12,244,950) steps as a team. Congratulations to our workplace walking winner, Gemma Gardner from our Barrow Hub who walked an incredible 573,104 steps in March.

Keep moving and make March a month of wellbeing, one step at a time!
